More Updates to Sangres Guide!

I’ve added two shorter routes to the Sangres guide that are far shorter and less committing trips, but are worth the time to take the on. The two are the Northern Sangres Loop,

And the Crestone Sangres Sampler,

I may try out the Northern Sangres Loop myself as a fastpack. There is an FKT page for the route just going from Hayden Pass to the Rainbow Trail TH, but I like the idea of loops, since starting/finishing a route close to town means you don’t need a car shuttle to actually do the line. This trailhead is also near public transportation and camping, so someone like me could theoretically take the bus, bivvy for the night, and start on the route the next day.

As I alluded to in my last post, Caltopo has added the ability to add photos to maps, so I may update my dev map to support that, although I would need a Pro account to unlock that feature, which I do not know if I want to pony up for.
